Choosing a photograph
Your photographs must be clear and your subject in focus.
For multi-subject commissions, I am able to use separate photos and we will discuss composition based on your photos before I start.
If you are unsure which photo you want to use. Send me all of them! We can discuss what will be best for your composition and subject.


Securing a place on the waiting list
Once your deposit is paid, you have a secure place on my waiting list. This can be done before sending me photos if you are not sure what composition you want yet. All we need to secure your place is the size of the artwork and the medium you want me to use. All other extras can be added on as we go. 
I try to keep my waiting list flexible and can often prioritise urgent pieces. Please let me know if you have a specific date that you need your artwork by and I will try my best to ensure that this is done, within reason. Where I cannot achieve your specific date when your commission is a gift, I recommend purchasing a portrait gift card: to let the recipient know that they will receive an original piece of art from you. 


Payment options
You can pay by Paypal or card. If you are local to me, I am happy to accept cash. If you wish to pay by card, I will send you an invoice by email which you can pay over the internet. 
If you wish to pay in instalments, I am happy to discuss this before we start. Your artwork will not be dispatched before complete payment is received. Some people choose to pay the deposit and then final payment when the artwork is finished. Other people choose to pay the deposit and then smaller amounts to break down the cost throughout the painting of the artwork.  
Shipping
Please let me know if you have a specific date that you need your artwork by so I can ensure that your artwork reaches you in time. 


Terms & Conditions

All artwork is shipped ONLY after full payment has been made. 
All UK artwork is shipped by Royal Mail or Parcelforce Next Day Delivery.
All worldwide artwork is shipped by Royal Mail International Track & Sign.
All artwork will require a signature on delivery so please ensure that someone is available to do this for you.
Uttermost care is taken to ensure your artwork reaches you undamaged. All artwork is insured for its journey to you. Please let me know if any damage occurs.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL OPENING YOUR ARTWORK. Any damage caused while opening your artwork will not be reimbursed.

The use of any image from this website or the reproduction of any artwork or photographs thereof is prohibited unless prior written permission from the artist is obtained. Please follow link to Contact Me page for all requests. It is the right of the artist to disallow any requests for usage of the above mentioned artworks. Requesting usage does not permit you to use or reproduce any artwork described by the above.

Purchase of any piece of the above artwork does not permit you to copy or reproduce said artwork without prior consent from the artist.


Payment/deposit

Deposits for commissioned work are required before commencement. Payment of deposit will secure your place on the waiting list.

The following list contains deposit amount for certain types of commissioned artwork.

Woodcrafts                      50% non-returnable deposit

Final payment must be made before shipping.

No preparation work, including composition mock up, photography session and necessary purchases will be completed without your deposit in place.


Damaged artwork

​I will send you a photo of your artwork before shipping so you can approve the final piece. If you are not happy, please let me know so I can make any necessary changes. 

Please inform me immediately if you find any damage or discrepancies to your artwork once you have received it. Any damage or discrepancy must be reported within 14 days. 

Your artwork is insured for shipping. If it has been damaged in transit, please contact me as soon as it arrives so I can contact the shipping company. Dusty Souls Art/ Imogen Clark is not responsible for any damage occurring after delivery of your artwork.
